Jon Bowhay is a renowned togishi (sword polisher) with over thirty years experience in sword restoration.  Mr. Bowhay completed a ten year apprenticeship in the Hoami School of Sword Polishing, where he apprenticed six days a week under the tutelage of Sensei  Naoji Karita in Tokyo.

Mr. Bowhay offers full service restoration for Japanese swords, including polishing and koshirae restoration.  Mr. Bowhay is fluent in English, Japanese and Spanish and offers his expertise as a togishi to clients worldwide.
